As a Bid Writer at Arco you will be at the forefront of our mission to become the safety partner of choice for businesses seeking excellence. Your role will be instrumental in turning our expertise into winning proposals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completion and submission of high-quality tender responses in order to increase business win rate
- Co-ordinating the coding and sales teams to ensure timely completion of the commercial response
- Developing compelling win themes in conjunction with the sales teams to inform a compelling tender submission
- Ensuring all responses ‘answer the question’, meet the requirements of the bid and hit submission deadlines
- Guiding the external sales force through the bid process, advising on bid governance, bid qualification and best practice
- Influencing key stakeholders in the wider business to provide timely responses to information requests as bid requirements dictate
- Contributing to the production of presentation documentation for the pitch team
- Conducting bid debriefs on both won and lost opportunities in conjunction with the sales team and Head of Opportunity Management

The ideal Bid Writer will be/have:
- Degree in English desirable
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Ability to create innovative, creative, and aesthetically pleasing tender responses
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge essential
- Highly organised, with ability to manage tight deadlines and excellent attention to detail
- Strong communicator with the ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
- Experience of creative writing or similar would be ideal but is not essential
