We’re looking for a highly motivated Supply Consignment & Data Controller to manage a multi million pound inventory portfolio and ensure data integrity across our consignment contracts. If you’re a master of inventory management and data analysis with a passion for optimising stock and driving efficient then this is the job for you!
Please note this is a hybrid position with a mix of home working and time spent from our Head Office in Hull, with the expectation of an average of 2 to 3 days from the office each week.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Being responsible for circa £600k of Arco owned stock which is held at customer sites.
• Analysing requests for new contracts to ensure they meet criteria for product usage and sales revenue.
• Undertaking the day-to-day management of consignment contracts, ensuring contracts signed and in date.
• Ensuring consignment inventory is reviewed regularly and slow moving & exit products are managed efficiently.
• Responsibility for managing stock coverage & integrity against individual consignment contracts, ensure accounts are being utilised.
• Acting as primary contact supporting all sales teams, providing back orders reports & accurate information for customer issues and complaints.
• Maintaining materials management master data settings and requirements for all SKU.
• Analysing materials management transactional data and proactively provide recommendations for efficiency improvements.
• Assisting with automating data and transactions to drive cost effective use of time and resources.
• Working with data experts across other functions to help ensure our Master Data Integrity is World Class
The ideal Consignment Planner & Data Controller will be/have
• Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes and systems.
• A strong understanding of inventory management and forecasting.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Excellent numeric and communication skills.
• Understanding of numerical and logical instruction and operating effectively in a data intensive environment.
