We're looking for proactive and commercially minded Customer Sales Advisors to play a key role in increasing the conversion of inbound customer quotes to orders. In this dynamic role, you'll take full ownership of receiving a customer quote to generating accurate, timely responses through to identifying and acting on cross-sell and upsell opportunities that expand the sales basket value.
As part of our newly formed team, you'll be at the heart of our commercial success, not only converting quotes into sales, but also using customer interactions to generate valuable insights and leads that support our wider sales teams. The Customer Sales Advisor vacancy is a full time position, Monday to Friday, and is on a hybrid basis, with a mix of office and home based working.
Key responsibilities include:
- Converting inbound enquiries and quotes to confirmed orders, maximising value through upselling and cross-selling
- Delivering a confident, empathetic service in every customer interaction, building rapport quickly and adapting to customer needs, through all communication channels (including teams)
- Using active listening and questions to uncover true customer requirements and setting clear expectations on delivery and timelines
- Using sales promotions, the promotion of Arco key products and working within the Arco ‘Pro pricing’ framework
- Identifying further needs, passing qualified leads to Sales/ Product teams and sharing insights to improve propositions and service
- Owning the request-to-order process from start to finish
- Maintaining accurate CRM records (C4C), resolving issues efficiently and navigating internal systems
- Aiming for First Time Right outcomes to reduce repeat contact, using feedback to improve future interaction
- Partnering with Sales, Supply Chain, and Strategic teams, supporting service enhancements and piloting initiatives
- Actively seeking feedback and coaching whilst owning your personal development plans
- Contributing positively to team culture and goals

The ideal Customer Sales Advisor will be/have:
- Demonstrated experience in sales, or service contact centre environments
- Experienced in a B2B or commercial sales setting with exposure to order management and sales support processes
- Solid understanding of customer engagement and relationship management principles
- Previous use of CRM tools (preferably SAP C4C or similar)
- Familiarity with working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Knowledge of Arco’s products, industry sectors, or competitor landscape
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Sales or Product teams
