This is a field-based position, but occasional attendance will be required to our Staffordshire Office.
This Trainee role will involve working at heights with full training provided. Once your training is completed, there is potential for you to move to a Fall Protection Technician role. Don’t worry if you haven’t any experience within the engineering or safety sector – we’ll teach you all there is to know! In the first 12 months we will put you through various courses, on-site training and mentoring to enable you to develop your knowledge and understanding and further your career with us.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering site-based inspections and certification of fall protection anchorages
- Assisting Engineers with the site-based installation of fall protection anchorages
- Communicating and working closely with the Site Supervisor and other members of the team
- Developing good client/company relations
- A requirement to work nationwide as required

The ideal Trainee Fall Protection Technician will be/have:
- A general interest in health and safety, teamed with a willingness to build a career in this sector
- A ‘safety first’ mentality, demonstrating a continuous focus on safety
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Competent using Microsoft Office packages including Microsoft Excel and Word
- An excellent eye for/ attention to detail
- Ability to learn and follow processes thoroughly and prioritise their own workload
- Ability to be flexible and support other team members as required
