About The Role

Are you a driven and dynamic sales professional, with a track record of delivering technical solutions? Do you thrive on hitting targets and have a passion for building strong customer relationships? Arco are looking for a Sales Specialist to join our Hose team, promoting awareness of new opportunities, delivering on sales and profit objective in line with our business plan. 
 
Please note we are open to nationwide applicants however the role would involve covering a region of roughly a third of the country based on your location, not full national coverage. 
 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Hitting agreed sales and profit targets for hose sales within defined sector
  • Developing and maintaining product and market expertise and be recognised as an expert in material transfer products
  • Feeding back relevant market information to our General Manager for our Hose department
  • Formulating a product sector plan to develop range
  • Utilising systems, data and market knowledge to identify and target opportunities for new business
  • Creating key account plans to maximise profitability of existing customers
  • Identifying key decision makers at new and existing customers
  • Networking and developing effective working relationships with targeted key decision makers, to leverage business opportunities both internally and externally
  • Having regular face to face contact with key branch and national stakeholders to ensure all are fully clear and engaged with supporting the achievement of the range objectives
  • Providing timely, accurate, relevant and professional reports as required

The ideal Hose Sales Specialist will be/have:
  • Educated to degree level or have relevant industry experience
  • Proven track record of success in delivering sales objectives
  • Proven track record of training and inspiring people
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant market - products, customers, suppliers and competitors
  • Extensive experience of delivering excellent presentations to a wide variety of audiences
  • Experience of demonstrating, training and instructing others in the use of technical products
