Arco, the UK's leading integrated health and safety experts, is seeking a dedicated Trainee Respiratory Inspector to join our team.
As a Trainee Respiratory Inspector, you'll learn the skills to play a crucial role in servicing and maintaining a range of equipment including Full Face Respirators, and Half Mask Respirators on our customer's site. Please note this role will involve travel and working away from home as required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Servicing existing customers with Compliance, both onsite and within our workshops
- Promoting profitable sales with our core range of products, solutions and partnered services
- Generating new business with core range in product, solutions and partnered services
- Developing working relationships with vendors and third-party suppliers
- Supplying safety equipment for hire (Winches, Tripods, Harnesses, Gas detectors & Escape breathing apparatus)
- Providing a delivery service for Hire & Maintenance
- Carrying out repairs & calibrations to safety equipment (Winches, Tripods, Harnesses, Gas detectors & Escape breathing apparatus)
- Carrying out Face Fit Testing on client’s site or in one of our Safety/ Training Centres
- Delivering training courses on client’s site or in our Training Centre
- Carrying out servicing of Respiratory Protective Equipment on client’s site or in workshop

The ideal Trainee Respiratory Technician will be/have:
- A Driving Licence
- Presentation experience
- Face to Face Customer Experience
- Interest in Health and Safety
- Understanding Face Fit Testing
- Eager to learn new skills
- Basic IT skills
