About The Role

We're happy to consider applications from candidates who are either seeking Hybrid working (our Head Office is in Hull, and we're open to discussing the number of days in the office), Remote working or Office based. 

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining high-quality user interfaces for web applications
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Implementing responsive design to enhance user experience
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging UI technologies and best practices
  • Working with CMS systems such as NextJS

The ideal React Javascript Developer will be/have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 
  • Versed in general UI skills (HTML, CSS and UI frameworks)
  • Proven work experience as a UI Developer or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
  • Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
  • Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
  • Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
