About The Role

We’re looking for a Digital Analytics Manager to maintain and develop our digital analytics capability during a period of maternity cover, ensuring customer insight and performance data continue to support the effective running of our £130m+ eCommerce business.

In this role, you’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable insight that drives improvements across our eCommerce and digital proposition. You will work closely with teams across the organisation to ensure customer behaviour, performance data and analytics sit at the heart of our decision making.

This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll influence trading plans, campaign performance and long-term digital strategy.

Please be aware this is a fixed term contract covering maternity leave. 
 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Analyse customer behaviour, trends and performance to provide data-driven recommendations for our digital roadmap and trading plans
  •  Champion the use of analytics, customer insight and data science across the business
  • Identify opportunities for channel shift, merchandising improvements and campaign optimisation
  • Develop and maintain dashboard-style reporting to support day-to-day eCommerce performance
  • Manage and optimise Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics implementations, ensuring accurate tracking and reliable data
  • Select, implement and manage analytics tools that provide granular insight into onsite behaviour (e.g. GA4, Hotjar)
  • Partner with external agencies and vendors to support analytics implementation and measurement strategy
  • Work across the business to expand analytics capability beyond eCommerce
  • Translate complex datasets into clear stories and insights for senior stakeholders

The ideal Digital Analytics Manager will be/have:
  • A collaborative leader who can motivate and influence teams across the organisation
  •  Proven track record of interpreting complex data sets to drive business action
  • Experience measuring and optimising digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience evaluating, selecting and managing analytics platforms
  • Experience working with external agencies and technical partners
  • Understanding of B2B distribution or eCommerce business models (desirable)
Technical Skills
Expert knowledge of the Google analytics ecosystem including:
  • GA4
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Looker Studio
  • BigQuery
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis
  • Experience using BI tools such as Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Experience implementing and managing on-site analytics tools
