Our mobile-based inspectors play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of the equipment we provide to our customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting and Servicing working at height Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), lifting accessories (LOLER), in line with manufacturers guidelines and relevant legislation.
- Examination of lifting accessories in line with manufactures guidelines and relevant legislation.
- Portable appliance testing.
- Working remotely on client’s sites and at Safety Services offices.
- Assist with in-house servicing
- Completing all work with accuracy and attention to detail, as this is safety-critical equipment.Alongside the servicing you’ll need to complete the administration process in accordance with our internal standards framework.

The ideal Health and Safety Equipment Inspector will be/have:
- Full and valid UK Driving license and the ability to travel on a frequent basis -
- Competent using Microsoft Office packages including excel and Microsoft word
- A general interest in health and safety teamed with a willingness to build a career in this sector
- A ‘safety first’ mentality, demonstrating a continuous focus on safety
- An excellent eye for/ attention to detail
- Ability to learn and follow processes thoroughly
- Ability to priorities their own workload
- Ability to be flexible and support other team members as required
