As the driving force behind the optimization of a key customer relationship, you will be at the forefront of securing strong sales and gross profits. This is an exceptional opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills with up to 2 direct reports, oversee sales forecasts exceeding £1m, and manage operations at one location on the customer’s site.
Key responsibilities:
- Building relationships by making regular and scheduled face to face customer contact with senior site staff
- Understanding drivers of cost to serve and minimise these in order to maximise net profitability
- Maintaining a contract strategy that delivers excellent relationships in Purchasing, SHE, Operational and Occupational Health
- Responding quickly to customer information requests and visits
- Developing an in depth knowledge of health and safety statistics/initiatives and identify suitable Arco products or services to match needs
- Gathering and sharing competitor information where appropriate
- Communicating clear, concise and realistic actions to the Customer Service Team
- Managing a relationship with key strategic vendors and Arco category management to maximise profitability and customer service
- Working closely with Inventory Management Services to maximise stock availability and delivery of goods to

The ideal site manager will be/have:
- Excellent knowledge of products, customers & suppliers.
- Good understanding of margin calculation, customer P&E and its impact on the business
- Proven track record of success in delivering projects, with multiple stakeholders
- Good knowledge of all relevant IT systems.
- Telephone Skills.
- Good understanding of how excellent customer service is delivered
- NEBOSH Certificate would be an advantage
- IOSH Certificate would be an advantage
