Please note this is a hybrid role, with a mix of days working from our head office in Hull and home based working.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking full ownership of a portfolio of accounts within a defined territory, ensuring strong relationships are built to establish profitable growth
- Proactively pursuing new business and taking back market share from competitors and protect and grow web share across our customer base
- Understanding our key differentiators as a business, using a consultative approach to offer quality, innovation and value add solutions to our customers and managing customer accounts in accordance with Arco processes and ways of working
- Robust quotation management and conversion
- Managing allocated sales leads with customers in accordance with business process and SLA’s
- Utilising the pricing tool and market knowledge to deliver maximum margin growth
- Analysing data and insight to make informed decisions, utilising all available resources to deliver growth and build effective account plans to strengthen customer relationships
- Developing and executing a call cycle plan that enables full customer/contact coverage across a defined customer base
- Maintaining and updating customer and sales opportunity information accurately through the daily use of CRM

The Ideal Internal Account Manager will be/have
- Proven track record of success in delivering sales objectives
- Experience with virtual selling – using telephone and video – in a B2B environment
- Knowledge of customers, their requirements for health and safety products and services and their customer service needs
- Ability to build relationships cross functionally, working with central functions to deliver excellent customer service
- Commercially astute, with an understanding of margin, how it is calculated and its impact on the business.
- Excellent understanding of digital sales channels, social media and online performance management
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Excellent IT skills/CRM proficient. Experience working with SAP C4C would be advantageous.
