As our new Onsite Delivery Coordinator you will work with a key customer in the Darwen area, and be based from our retail store, driving to customer locations to fill their PPE requirements and raising replenishment orders following stock counts. This will require someone who has a high attention to detail is comfortable working autonomously and can work to a schedule. This is a manual role, as such, experience within a role involving large amounts of manual handling, preferably within a delivery environment, would be advantageous.
The Onsite Stock Coordinator role is a full time role, for 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
Please note this role will involve driving a 3.5 tonne Luton van, as such full driving licence and confidence to drive the vehicle is required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Stock PPE locations on customer sites and raise replenishment orders as required
- Ensure desktop deliveries are processed promptly
- Efficiently managing time to ensure customers sites are visited at agreed dates and times
- Liaise directly with customers and account managers to ensure a high level of service
- Maintaining professional housekeeping standards of all inventory and locations within a customer site and work in the trade counter as required in times of absence/holidays of colleagues
- Complying with vehicle servicing requirements and maintain the appearance of their company vehicle
- Completing weekly control forms to be returned to the central team for logging

About you
The ideal Onsite Delivery Coordinator will be/have:
- A full UK driving licence is essential
- Experience within stock management would be greatly advantageous
- Experience of manual handling in a delivery environment or similar
- Experience/ confidence to drive goods vehicles up to a Luton style van or similar (3.5 tonne) would be highly desirable
- Strong communication and customer service skills to liaise with customers and management
- Excellent IT skills/ knowledge with the ability to adapt to new systems
- The ability to plan, prioritise and effectively manager your own daily/ weekly workload
- Experience of manual handling in a warehousing environment or similar
