Are you a customer focused, hands-on team player with a passionate for delivering excellent service. We are recruiting an Onsite Trade Counter Assistant to join our dynamic team in Barrow. This is a physical role, which will involve carrying stock of varying sizes and weights.
Any offer of employment will be subject to a site security test.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acquire relevant stock items for customers from Arco safety stores
- Liaise directly with customers and account managers to ensure a high level of service
- Efficiently managing time to ensure customers sites are visited at agreed dates and times
- Liaising with the central team to ensure stocks are counted and accurate data maintained as well as updating them on relevant customer information
- Maintaining professional housekeeping standards of all inventory and locations within a customer site and work in the trade counter as required in times of absence/holidays of colleagues
- Complying with vehicle servicing requirements and maintain the appearance of their company vehicle
- Completing weekly control forms to be returned to the central team for logging

The ideal Onsite Trade Counter Assistant will be/have:
- Experience within a trade counter or stock control environment
- Must be IT literate; Microsoft packages
- Driving licence greatly advantageous to be able to provide holiday cover driving duties
- Experience using SAP would be advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation
