Arco, the UK's leading integrated health and safety experts, is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Equipment Technician to join our team.
As a Health and Safety Equipment Inspector, you'll play a crucial role in servicing and maintaining BAE PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirators), Full Face Respirators, and Half Mask Respirators on our customer's site. Your responsibilities will include carrying out COSHH Monthly Inspections, Manufacturers Annual Servicing, and repairs to various respiratory equipment. The role will involve regular weekend working based on business needs.
This is a full time position, with standard working days of Wednesday to Sunday.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out COSHH Monthly Inspections, Manufacturers Annual Servicing, repairs to Powered Air Purifying - Air Respirators, Full Face Masks and Half Masks.
- Completing and maintaining COSHH record keeping and Arco Professional Safety Services Asset tracking system.
- Managing stock of spare parts and equipment within workshop to carry out monthly testing.
- Carrying out Tool Box talks on Respiratory Equipment
- Conducting Face Fit Testing
- Processing Job Cards

About you
The ideal Health and Safety Equipment inspector will be/have
- Manual handling experience
- Presentation experience
- Respiratory knowledge however training will be provided
- Equipment inspection knowledge
- Face to face customer experience
- Basic IT skills and data entry
- Good telephone manner
- Driving licence preferable
