As a Technical Sales Specialist you will communicate Technical Expertise and advice to our customers, and assisting in the development of our Own Label product range, supporting our sales and profit objectives for the Footwear category.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with Product & Procurement Manager to develop and enhance our Footwear product offer.
- Hitting agreed sales and profit targets for Own Label Footwear range
- Monitoring, analysing and taking appropriate actions to deliver financial targets.
- Contributing to formulation of the sales plan to develop Own Label Footwear product range
- Developing and ensuring excellent relationships with Vendor/s related to Own Label Footwear Range
- Identifying key decision makers at existing and potential customers.
- Having regular face to face contact with key Regional and Sector Sales stakeholders to ensure all are fully clear and engaged with supporting the achievement of Own Label Footwear range objectives.
- Responding professionally to Technical Sales requests from within the business

The ideal Technical Sales Specialist will be/have:
- Educated to degree level or have relevant Industry experience.
- Proven track record of success in delivering commercial objectives.
- Proven track record of training and inspiring people.
- Proven Technical knowledge of Footwear category, including Sourcing, Manufacturing, Testing and Certification processes
- Excellent knowledge of Footwear market - products, customers, suppliers and competitors.
- Extensive experience of delivering excellent presentations to a wide variety of audiences.
